Is your fridge a cluttered hot mess? Well, mine was until I started implementing new organization systems into my kitchen. The new me is starting off the New Year with being more organized. I’m also maintaining my workouts and consuming less dairy and more yummy plant-based foods.
Having a well organized refrigerator saves me time in the morning and encourages me to eat a well rounded breakfast. My morning routines are faster when I can just grab my Silk Almond milk without having to move things around.
My entire family loves Silk Almond milk. We enjoy drinking this plant-based, soy-free, dairy alternative. I can’t believe that it contains 10 grams of protein! I like to swap out milk for almond milk in a lot of my recipes, especially when I make pancakes.
I love pairing my pancakes with a blueberry and vanilla yogurt parfait with a tall glass of almond milk. These two yogurt flavors compliment each other well. Have you tried the Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative? It’s incredibly smooth and creamy. This vegetarian yogurt has 6 grams of plant-based protein which totally makes me happy. There are six different flavors to choose from so I created a grab-and-go snack drawer with containers of fresh berries and yogurt.
Having a tidy fridge has made life a lot more peaceful and I’m dying to share a few tips with you.
1. Create a go-to snack drawer with your favorite yogurts, fruits and veggies.
2. Use clear mason jars to store your sauces and dressings.
3. Pre-wash your fruit and store them in clear and easily accessible bowls.
How to Organize Your Refrigerator
Step 1: Clear out the clutter
Step 2: Clean and wipe down the fridge. I used vinegar and water because I did not want to have harsh chemicals enclosed around my food
Step 3: Remove your food from its packaging and place them into clear containers. I used uniformed containers and baskets so that I can visibly see my food and not have to search for items.
Step 4: Return the food to the fridge and group them into like categories.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative and Almond milk the next time that you are at Walmart. I spotted the new packing pretty easily in the dairy aisle. I like to stock up on vanilla, blueberry and strawberry yogurt. What is your favorite go-to snack or yummy drink? Do you have a delicious snack drawer in your fridge?
