My kids always wake up from their afternoon nap and want a snack. I’m more than happy to oblige but I don’t always want to give them a sugary treat. So, I developed these super yummy Cereal Covered Grape POPS! As I have mentioned before, my boys love to devour Honey Bunches of Oats® cereal so it was a no brainer for me to use them in this fast and easy recipe.
I’ve used this cereal in previous recipes but this time I wanted to try something different. The old Honey Bunches of Oats® has a new name and a new flavor. It’s now called Honey Bunches of Oats® Pecan & Maple Brown Sugar! After one bite you will probably fall in love with cereal all over again like we did. When the little’s wake up from their naps, we like to have story time. This is the only part of the day that they are quiet and will sit still.
During our story time the boys enjoy munching on cereal covered grape pops. This super yummy snack leaves their hands clean and their tummies satisfied. The new mix of flavors and textures in the cereal makes for a fun filled party in their mouth, haha. The crunchy oat clusters, crispy flakes and maple brown sugar compliment the sweetness from the grapes perfectly. You can find more creative cereal recipe ideas HERE.
When I was at Walmart picking up the NEW Honey Bunches of Oats®, I noticed that there was also a new Cinnamon PEBBLES™ cereal. Andrew had a bowl for lunch over the weekend and he said “WOW this is amazing! MOM! Can I have seconds?!” The new PEBBLES™ cereal have the perfect touch of cinnamony sweetness. For more than 40 years PEBBLES™ cereals have been making mornings fun for kids and I’m so excited to continue the tradition in my home with the boys.
Well, I’m sure that you are curious to know how to make the Grape POPS so here is what you will need to do.
