Spring is here and I’m cleaning with a vengeance. Y’all know that I’ve made it one of my resolutions to be more organized this year and I’m happy to say that it has not been in vain. I’m still plugging away and today I’m sharing how to make your very own Kitchen Sink Organizer. This shabby chic distressed organizer is perfect for holding my all of my kitchen essentials from paper towels to my amazing Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth.
Have you tried these amazing dish cloths? The scrubbing dots will allow you to take cleaning to a whole new level so that you can do so much more around the house; like tackling tough stuck-on messes. I love the non-scratch scrubbing power.
My boys create plenty of messes for me to cleanup and I don’t have to worry about the cloth scratching items in my home. If you are a fan of the Scotch-Brite dish cloth or want to become one, save BIG and use these coupons!
I use my scrubbing dish cloth on all surfaces around my house. I can clean everything from tough pots and pans to gently wiping my glass home decor pieces. With the cleaning power of this dish cloth, I no longer have to use a knife for tough stuck-on mess and spring cleaning has never been easier.
When I’m all done, I simply throw my cloth into the washing machine. Because it’s sturdy, washable and reusable I simply grab it from the wash and replace it onto my kitchen sink organizer.
Would you like to make one of your very own? It’s super easy and the best part is that you can customize the color to fit your kitchen decor.
Gather your materials.
- Small goblet or vase
- Small platter
- Chalk paint (color of your choice)
- Strong adhesive glue
- Sand paper
- Sponge paint brush
- Paint the goblet and the platter. Let the paint dry and apply a second coat.
- Sand and distress each piece. Sand the top of the goblet so that the glue will adhere easier.
- Apply the glue liberally and allow the pieces to dry.
- Style as desired.
That’s it. Now you can have a place to store your kitchen essentials and your Scotch-Brite dish cloth will be beautifuly displayed. You can go from cleaning to enjoying treats in no time.
