I know that I have mentioned how much Dave has been working out-of-town lately and that I have to be ready with dinner on busy weeknight’s; well let me tell you, it doesn’t get any easier than this! I chose the family box and it did not disappoint! My 100% recyclable and compostable box was stocked with two different meal choices.
The Turkey Kabobs with Carrot Snap Pea salad and Lemon Couscous was amazing! This light and flavorful meal was loaded with veggies and protein. The kabobs were seasoned perfectly and very moist. My husband and I loved the carrot and snap pea salad. It was extremely fresh and paired well together. I loved the lemon couscous. I’ve had couscous before but the refreshing lemony flavor was awesome.
The second meal was Sesame Crusted Chicken with Roasted Potato Salad. The boys loved this dish as much as I did. I’ve never had a salad with roasted potatoes before but I quickly fell in love! It was the right amount of carbs for this meal. The salad was lightly covered in a delightful dressing and the chicken was juicy! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. The award-winning San Francisco chef did an amazing job developing these recipes. The instructions were easy to follow and made making dinner a lot of fun.
